Welcome Back

We would like to welcome back all our students, and hope that you all had a good break during the Summer holidays.

As we start back we have a number of courses and events already lined up, of which the details are available on the events page.

Starting next week we have the new Judo club opening in Brackley, and the following week we have a new Karate club opening in Kineton, along with the possible expansion of the Karate club in Fenny Compton. Details for all these clubs will soon be available on the website. A new look clubs page will be coming soon, so keep an eye out for the update.

Congratulations to Sempai Callum, who following a very tough summer course and grading successfully attained his Black belt in Karate, he will be collecting his belt and certificate from Sensei Perry next week.

We invite you to train hard, and to take part in as many courses and events as you can.

Club Expands

We are pleased to announce that we will be introducing two new venues/clubs in September.

The first of these will be the new Brackley Judo Club on Saturday mornings, from the 14th September 2013. We are looking forward to opening at this venue as it has great potential, and easily accessed from the A43, and the M40.

The Second venue heralds the further growth of the Karate section, with a new children’s Karate club at Kineton, Warwickshire. Along side this a new adult Karate class is to be added to the Venue at Fenny Compton.

Seiki Juku Under 21 Tournament

Well done to all those that took part in the Seiki Juku Under 21’s tournament 16 June 2013. Everyone that took part put up a tremendous performance.

Alex Carmichael – Gold
Joe Carmichael – Gold
Cody Bushell – Silver
Alex Carmichael – Bronze
Steven Waterhouse – Participation

Alex put in a tremendous effort and showed his true spirit as he was put up a group and had to fight the brown and black belts, some of whom were much older and bigger so his bronze was well earned. Joe competed brilliantly, through out the tournament and fought his way to gold without conceding a single point. Cody put in a great effort and was rewarded with the silver medal, this was a good warm up ready for the Dan grade line ups. Steven won his first fight in a competition and showed true spirit.

New Classes

We are pleased to announce that we will be introducing a new Aikido class to our existing schedule.

The new session will start this week on Thursday 6th June at 3rd Daventry Scouts, High March Daventry.

Session times will be from 7pm to 8:30pm, and will be suitable for anyone aged 10 years or over.
